An ongoing series of observational drawings in pencil, charcoal and Sumi ink working from plants, trees, natural forms and places found close to home in North Fife. The drawings begin in careful looking but move toward the expressive, less a record of appearance than a tracing of energy and presence. Materials range from large to small scale studies each format finding a different quality of attention.
