Cura

Cura is the Latin word for ‘care’ and ‘attention’, it is also the root of the word curious.
These drawings come from a curiosity about gardens, the ecologies and rhythms of them and their healing potential.

Drawing

It is the practice of responding which makes it clear: it’s not about caring for every line. The care I take must be for the quality of attention, rather than the marks I draw. If I am attuned to what I am seeing, there’s little decision to make: the treatment of lines will look after itself.”
